But Sophie can’t shake the feeling that she’s made an unforgivable mistake and now her whole family is in danger.

Because how well does she know Emma, really? Should she have trusted her at all?

Time is running out. Powerless to help her child, still hours from home, Sophie is about to discover the truth. And her life will never be the same.

Book Review

I would like to thank WritersMelon for the review copy. My review here totally honest and unbiased.

A stranger who becomes your friend. A friend who becomes your life savior. A friend who is perfect in all sorts when seen through your eyes. A friend who is different person when you are not around. Your friend but whole world is against her.A friend who knows you better and doesn’t give up on you. A friend who is always one step ahead of you to catch when you fall. How that friend knew that I would fall? Should I trust her?

Jump inside the book to know the answer. A delicate novel I would say. It may be a thriller but not a fast or too engrossing plot. A slow and steady novel till the last page. I just went with the flow of the story and I definitely loved it.

A novel which has no twists or turns in between to confuse us but totally fell on the track of brainteaser only with the narration of Sophie life. You would know Emma is wrong but you are confused where to point exactly which made this novel an absolute enjoyable read.

The climax surprised me a lot and unpredictable. I didn’t expect it that way but it completely made sense.Sophie eventually turned out be a good friend in one way. There was an emotional bond tied up to each and every characters of the book.An elaborate narration throughout the book but didn’t bore me up at any place.

Overall ” The Friend” is a perfect slow dosage prescribed by the author for us to enjoy this psychological thriller.
