Book Review

I would like to thank author and Debdatta Sahay for the review copy. My review here is totally honest and unbiased.

This book is absolutely thrilling and you cannot think off to put the book down. Is every page a nail biting page? No, I was stalked by the same dark hooded man to finish the novel.

The prelude was amazing and I was taken aback by the Gothic narration and the experience stayed long in my mind even after few chapters of the story. On point prelude it was.

There are only few characters in this story and all of them were innocently unique in their way. I really liked the way author involved the existence of the characters in this novel even though there was no much of character development. It’s not the character’s character but the entire characters exhibit was under the light of the dark hooded man.

The book might be long or the narration might be long and almost felt dragged after the second timeline jump. But I continued with the story because the main character became mute spectator( you got to read the novel buddy) and the story traveled perfectly normal with the other characters. I was impressed by that twist. There was no amiss to miss the horror factor throughout the novel.

The reason why I liked this book is I actually love horror book which has slow narration while going through the incidents and occurrences. So this book was apt for me to finish in a go. But readers who likes to have fast paced horror then it may be not for you but I would say don’t give up this book at the initial stage ,you have more to the story down the lane with a perfect ending.
