Book Review- A Court Of Thorn And Roses

Feyre’s survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill – the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price …

Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. Feyre’s presence at the court is closely guarded, and as she begins to learn why, her feelings for him turn from hostility to passion and the faerie lands become an even more dangerous place. Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or she will lose him forever.

Book Review
A Court of Thorns and RosesA Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I just joined the club of Sarah.J.Maas. This is my first book of hers. I really should accept the fact that she has the outstanding magic to get her readers into the book completely. Be her plot or writing or flow of the story. I was engrossed entirely through out the book.
Feyre, a next door girl(that’s what I felt) seems to carry the entire weight of her family responsibility on her shoulders. She is not courageous but acts to be fearless. Best trait of her which was liked by her enemy too.
Lucien character was my favorite and I liked the way he showed his concern and care towards Feyre than Tamlin actually. Hopefully I expect to see Lucien a lot in the next book. Tamlin didn’t impress me at the start. I knew he had reasons to bring Feyre along with him. I had a dislike for him but as the story proceeded further it made sense. Feyre love towards Tamlin was unconditional and without any expectation.
Rhysand and Nesta are the characters which I am going to search in the next books. These two ultimately surprised me a lot with their small window of space they had in the book.
As supposed the story line is usual or similar to few other stories. But the narration and the way it was presented made the reading gripping and interesting
I am pretty much sure that Feyre is going to rule this series. So see you all in “A Court Of Mist and Fury”
